These bearings are new and have not been opened from the factory. These bearings are commonly used in spindles and are designed for high speed operation. They come greased (20 ~25% fill) and never require maintenance. Instructions for proper configuration installation are included. Please note: We do not offer refunds or warranty the bearings. Bearings are susceptible to failure for mishandling, contamination, dropping, improper cylindrical fits and misalignment of mating components. The KH series use a “small ball” compared to the SM series. They handle less load but have a higher speed rating. The KH bearings are sealed. These can be used with oil lubricating or mist systems, but the seals need to be removed. The “HY” in the part number indicate hybrid bearings, which are ceramic balls with steel races.
