IS020 Toolholders
ISO20 is a small-taper standard used on compact CNC spindles where physical clearance is limited, and HS Spindles stocks ISO20 tool holders in ER16 and ER20, both in short body style to keep the assembly as compact as the taper itself demands. Because ISO20 spindles are typically running lighter cutting loads at higher speeds than larger taper machines, holder precision matters proportionally more – a small amount of runout that would be negligible on a larger taper shows up more visibly on ISO20’s smaller cutting diameters. Choose ER16 or ER20 based on your existing collet inventory; both use the same ISO20 taper and mounting geometry, so the decision comes down to collet range alone. These holders pair with ISO20 tightening stands and mini-nut wrenches for a complete compact-clearance tool assembly setup.
