HSK 63E Toolholders
HSK63E is the E-style flange variant of the HSK63 taper family, and HS Spindles stocks it across ER16, ER25, ER32, and ER40 collet sizes, each in short, long, and extra-long body styles. As with other HSK families, the E-style clamping geometry is specific to this taper – it isn’t interchangeable with HSK63A or HSK63F holders even though the base taper diameter is shared across the family. Reach length is the main sizing decision once you’ve matched ER size to your collet inventory: short holders keep the tool closest to the spindle nose for maximum rigidity, while long and extra-long styles trade some stiffness for the reach needed on deep-pocket or tall-fixture work. Confirm your spindle’s exact HSK variant (E, A, or F) against your machine builder’s documentation, since the three look similar but use different clamping mechanisms internally.
