The tool fork is the part of the ATC arm that physically cradles the tool holder’s flange during a tool change, and a worn or bent fork is a common reason a tool changer starts dropping or misaligning tools even when every other component checks out. Fork sizing is taper-specific, so the fork has to match the exact flange diameter of your tool holder, not just the general HSK or ISO30 family.
