Material: Through-hardened alloy steel. Precision ground surfaces. Low-friction coating.
Manufacturer: Made in Germany.
Balance Grade: <G2.5 @ 24,000 rpm
Maintenance: Protect from rust with rust preventative spray. Remove spray before placing into service. Use the correct concentration of coolant to prevent corrosion. Always check tool grippers for scoring or wear. Replace if worn or damaged.
Weekly: Check gripper for damage and debris buildup. Apply la ight coat of anti-seize if needed. METAFLUX Moly-Spray No.70-82 is recommended.
Every Six Months: Measure the “E.M” dimension and adjust if necessary. Test clamp force if able.
Compatibility: All HSK 63F, 63B, and 63D spindles. Also, HSK A50, B63, and E50.

Note: Grippers made by Ott Jakob require a tool to be present if the spindle is rotating. It is good practice not to mix the fingers of the gripper of one unit with another, even if it is the same manufacturer.
